Who We Are
Rosemary Omuony Foundation is a community-centered organization dedicated to uplifting vulnerable groups and fostering sustainable development in Mtongwe, Likoni, and surrounding areas. Formed in 2020 and officially registered in 2023, the foundation was established by Rosemary Omuony with a strong commitment to addressing social, economic, and health challenges affecting disadvantaged communities.
The foundation champions programs that promote education, health awareness, women and youth empowerment, social welfare, and community resilience.
Through targeted initiatives, it supports children’s learning, strengthens family wellbeing, and creates opportunities for skills training and livelihood development. The foundation also leads advocacy efforts in areas such as substance abuse prevention, gender equality, and the protection of vulnerable individuals.
Driven by compassion, integrity, and inclusivity, the foundation partners with local leaders, institutions, and volunteers to design impactful interventions that meet real community needs. Its work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope.
